Just heard a good thought: A lot of people complain, “Why doesn’t God do anything about the evil in the world?” And yet, these same people will read of the times in the Bible when God /did/ put a stop to the evil in the world (like when he brought plagues upon Egypt or destroyed the many wicked nations in the land of Canaan), and they’ll turn around and say that God is a violent, angry, evil god.
